Hi,
In hindsight, I realize that I’ve always followed my own path in life, making choices that defy social expectations. I never experienced what it was like to reside in one place for a lifetime, pursue one vocation, have a family, and raise children. Yet, like everyone else, Life challenged me with my own lessons.
Writing in various forms and for different purposes has always held a notable place in my life personally and professionally. After trying various genres, I’ve come to appreciate short form.
To me, the strength of the flash genre is its capacity to embody profound notions implicitly. The short form charges a piece with emotion and channels a pure message; this is how Life talks to us. Whether we understand the message depends on our ability to decipher ideas beyond the words. In flash writing, words of a piece act as frequencies for conveying meanings.
My essays and stories explore being through perceptions of the world’s mechanics beyond conventional wisdom, science, or religion. Above all, writing is a form of meditation for me, a practice of processing emotions, observations, and complexities of our earthly existence.
For decades I have written fragments, essays, and collected thoughts and observations. Now I am sharing my writing with the world.
